A hilarious satire based on the mega-musical Les Miserables. Tired of too much standardized testing in her high school, high achiever Anna Ullman stages a protest and finds herself crowned as the new principal. Ultimate power comes with its own problems (especially after death threats from the all-powerful State Board of Education), however, and soon Anna finds herself descending into tyrannical madness and imposing even more standardized testing. It’s up to her former best friend to lead a rebellion to bring down this new tyrant. Soon she’s manning the barricades and singing triumphantly awesome songs.
